Can't get a job or supply work - how am I supposed to do my NQT year?
I qualified to teach primary in July 2009 and after failing to get my first post I tried registering for Supply.
I have just completed my second year BA Honors in dance education with my final year to begin in September. I have taught dance at Key Stage one level for the past six years and am now looking for full-time employment in secondary or higher education.
I have a lot of experience of teaching for local groups/ organisations and am an associate with the B.A.T.D.
Are there any summer jobs that I can do until September that could enhance my experience (as well as pay)?
What options do I have if the 16months supply runs out and I still havent been able to find a position to complete my NQT year?

Are NQTs considered as temporary?
Hi, I've accepted a post but the confirmation letter has come through saying temporary teacher. In the application pack and on the interview there was no mention of temporary.
Job offer advice needed
My contract has just come for the job I got last week. I knew it was temporary to cover maternity leave but in our authority these are usually for a full year. This is the neighbouring authority.

My university tutor advised me to attach a photo of myself to my teaching applications to help attract the headteacher's attention.
