I have my PGCE interview next week and I have to write an essay exploring the current issues in education and how these affect teaching and learning in the inner city.
I was thinking of either discussing the White Paper report, but don't know how it will affect teaching in inner city schools. So...
I am starting a GTP course in September and want to start getting some new work clothes.
What sort of thing should I wear?
I will be in a secondary school, teaching science.
Also- I am quite short so should I wear heels so the kids don't tower above me? Or is this not advisable?

I realise that lots of questions have been asked about interviews, but I can't find any regarding bringing evidence to interviews.
The literature sent to me by the university doesn't specifically ask for any evidence, but I think it would be an ideal way of demonstrating my previous experience...
