I am a maths teacher in secondary but want to go into primary teaching. I have applied for jobs but think I am not getting anywhere because I don't have primary experience and I am on M6. Can you tell me if going into supply work to build up experience in primary would be the way forward?

Is there anything I can do to increase my chances of getting back into teaching? It's a job I loved - plus as I'm now a single parent I need a better income than as a TA. I have a science degree as well as my PGCE, and did complete my NQT time with no issues.
