I have told the LA that I may have the chance to extend my induct 3 by 6/10 days after half-term but she is adamant that she will not reduce my induction.  She says my circumstances are not exceptional.  I qualified nearly four years ago and my supply time will be up next April...

I understood that completing the nqt year there was no time limit. I also heard that if doing supply then the clock starts ticking and nqt has to be completed within 16 months, however iI rang TDA this week and was told nqt yr has to be completed within 5years regardless of if doing supply or not....

You can apply for supply work once you have QTS, you do not have to complete induction first....
