I am a GTP student (primary) and I have my first formal observation from the head teacher next week. I wanted to teach investigative science and I was just wondering if anyone had any good ideas of science investigations?

There are many such investigations, but it really does depend on what the focus of your lesson is - does it need to fit into a unit you are teaching? Is it about developing knowldge and understanhding or skills? Once you have such a focus then you need to narrow it down to a subject or concept and go from there. Youre best source of help will be the staff you work with who can advise on what would work well for the typoe of pupils you teach.

Hi! I did GTP last year at Southbank and am currently NQT.
I'm currently doing a science investigation surrounding the effect of excercise on the heart, getting the children to record their pulse before and after excercise having mae predictions based ion prior knowledge.
