Can an international PGCE student be hired to complete their NQT year?
I am an international student from the United States currently on a Secondary MFL PGCE course. Does anyone happen to know if a school would be able to hire me for me to complete my NQT year? Right now I have a student visa, but I would need to get a work permit in order to stay and work in the country. Any help would be appreciated!

You need to sort out your visa status. If you are on a student visa then you may not be able to work, but some visas do allow you to take work related to your qualification, so you shoulod consult the hime office to see exactly what your visa would allow. James
