Yes you can, but do check woith the LA that the school is suitabloe for induction (the LA is the body that oversees induction - some special schools may not be suitable depending on its size and intake. Also be aware that many special schools do not take NQTs as they feel that that you need mainstream teaching experience before working in SEN.
