Hello, I finished a flexible Secondary PGCE in February and started a teaching position immediately afterwards. However the exam board of the institution I studied with won't meet until the end of May, and I won't receive the official notification of my QTS award until sometime in July. By then I will have worked for the best part of three full terms. Will none of this count towards my NQT? Or is there any way I can use all of this teaching towards my NQT? Many Thanks.

I'm afraid that induction can only start once you have QTS. Your university recommends you for QTS and the teaching agency adds you to the register. Until you are added to the register you cannot start induction. No matter what work you are doing now I'm afraid that it cannot count. Have you asked the University to consider recommending QTS as an exceptional circumstance (that is to hold an exam board for just this purpose). They may say that they canbnot convene an extraordinary exam board for you (or any others in the same position) and you have to just wait until thge main board in May, but it won't hurt to outline your situation and see how they respond.
