Any help would be very much appreciated. I graduated from university last year and I am working as a paralegal, however I'm not entirely sure this area is right for me. I am considering teaching A-level law as I feel it would be more rewarding to educate others and express to them how interesting the law can be. My concern is that I am not entirely sure what options are available to me. For example I believe I would need to complete a PGCE (please correct me if I am wrong) in order to teach in a college, however is it possible to work at the same time as completing the course? Also is it possible to start teaching as an unqualified teacher and complete the formal qualifications at the same time as gaining this experience? If it is possible to work in a college whilst completing qualification, how many roles like this exist and how where could you find information about such roles? Is the best course of action to contact colleges? I should also note that I don't have any previous teaching experience and my hours as a paralegal make it very difficult to fit in any such experience Apologies for all of the questions, I am just eager to find out if a change of career would be feasible. Thank you in advance for any help :)

Probably your best option would be to work in FE teaching law - some schools do offer law in the sixth form. You can work and train at the same time. nYou can find out much more about your options here: http://www.ifl.ac.uk/cpd/qtls-atls The Sage
