Hi You will need to check that your degree qualification from India is considered as equivalent to a UK degree qualification - you can do this by applying to UK NARIC for an assessment (there is a cost) and their assessment is accepted here. If your degree is considered as equiavlent then currently you can apply for the overseas trained teacnhers programme (OTTP) which would allow you to work in a school and gain qualified teacher status (QTS) here (see: http://www.tda.gov.uk/get-into-teaching/teacher-training-options/overseas-trained-teacher-programme.aspx ) If your degree is considered equivalent then you are allowed to take up a teaching post for up to 4 years without gaining QTS here, but after 4 years you must either join a OTTP or a Graduate Teacher Programme and gain QTS.
