I have an interview on Thursday for a school.
They want an activity for 30 mins based on the poem 'The Overtaker' which is an olympic poem. Any ideas or comments would be great.

The main thiung about intervioew lessons is to do core things and do them well. Try to avoid packing in everything you know into a short space (it invariably does not work!).
So think about activities that involve the children (reading, acting out, collaborating) and try to have some concrete objectives (learning) that you can comment on during the interview - that is - "I set out for them to learn X and they did as i knew this because..."
Try to be creative but again, don't go over the top., You won't know the pupils at all and this is your main disadvantage.
