I have been offered a job in an independant primary school as maternity cover for the head of PE for a year, and i will be running the PE for the whole school. This will be my first teaching post, but they have said they cannot offer me my NQT year as the lady going on maternity is the one who runs the induction program. Obviously i will have to complete my NQT year next year should i take the job. How will this affect me? Thanks
