I am just finishing my PGCE year and I have got a job for a reception class for next year. I'd like to know how long a summer holiday I am likely to get. I finish my PGCE at the end of june and then i have to do an induction week for my school the week after. Will I then be free till the end of August or would I need to be in school until the children break up at like mind/end July. If anybody knows roughly how long and when I am likely to have my summer holiday that would be great as I'd like to book some holidays after this hard year!
