I start my PGCE in September, should I join a union? Which one is best? How do I go about it?

Union membership is recommended for all teachers and trainees. Most providers have a session where the unions set up stalls and offer freebies and free membership. You can join all as a student, but once qualified you should choose one that meets your needs/philosophy.
